RE: Appointment with Sales Consultant, Garrett Brodie

Had an appointment with Mr. Brodie regarding the Volvo XC90 (learn a bit about the vehicle, discuss inventory available at this point in time, etc.) My wife accompanied me for the appointment (was going to her vehicle, she was excited to learn a bit more as well.) We had reviewed/researched a bit online but figured I could learn the last little bit from the dealership prior to purchasing. Showed up for the appointment, Mr. Brodie didn't make eye contact initially (kind of just looking down at his desk, shuffling through paperwork,) providing some generic information. At this point, we are still standing (he's seated at the desk, no chairs for us,) He looks up, and right after seeing me, he asked "what is your price range, like what is it really?" We were still standing, and I simply stated I wouldn't be here if I wasn't intent on purchasing a vehicle, would love to learn more prior to doing so, and even gave the price range we were working with. After providing that information, mind you he's seated, we are still standing, he states "are you sure you are working with that much?"We walked out, someone from the front, tried to say something in an effort to apologize? I don't know what it was, weird, uncomfortable experience, overall seems like an ok dealership however I would avoid Mr. Brodie.
